Friedhats has a pretty long history with Cafe Granja La Esperanza. We first heard about them when we were looking for coffee to compete with in 2016. They were experimenting with coffee varieties even before Friedhats existed. We visited them a few times and we buy a big chunk of our super specials from them every year. 

Lex even drinks their Sudan Rume every day because he just doesn’t want to drink anything else. 

As we’re going to Panama this year to help Siebe compete in the WBC, we’re hoping to find another epic coffee from them.

Rigoberto and his team hold a special place in our hearts. And hopefully we can keep buying their coffees for many years to come.
