Colombia Las Margaritas Sudan Rume
Wow. End of an era. Lex's competition days are over. The coffee that started it all. Sudan Rume. This is it.
Lex's competition days are over but maybe yours are just beginning? Maybe you'll order this on a whim on payday and drink it and think fuck THIS IS IT! And then 7 years later you've travelled the world you've won accolades you've opened a roastery and you've warmed hearts <3
Whilst you're doing that Lex is doing something else, he's training for the olympics. Benchpressing, curling, doing push ups etc.
Here's what it tastes like:
IN THE HOT STAGE: eucalyptus, passionfruit, bergamot
IN THE WARM STAGE: mango, lemongrass, apricot
IN THE COLD STAGE: mint, milk chocolate
Sudan Rume Competition Coffee. Say no more.
When it comes to superspecials, Cafe Granja La Esperanza is always on our list. There’s a reason for that. Most of my all time favourite coffee’s are from them. We know them from when we started doing barista competitions.
They were one of the first who were experimenting with different varieties on a single farm. We were always dreaming of buying their top-coffee’s regularly. But it seems we’ve now ticked that box. Which is really cool (:
