Ethiopia Diima Danche #10 Espresso
They’re coming in now. The natural Ethiopian lots. They’re coming in. No more anxious nail biting between one and another; no more long waits; no more pain. Following on from the creamy, molasses lot Nesru Aba Nura, is this - the Diima Danche #10. Notes of strawberry, raspberry, and lychee make a sweet little number that’s gonna make up for all those months we didn’t have a natural Ethiopia on the cards.
This lot is made up of an heirloom variety, coming from approximately 400 farmers who bring their cherries to the Danche washing station in Chelbesa. The 400 farms that compromise this lot are all sitting at a comfortable 2000 - 2300 masl. The Danche washing station is owned by SNAP Coffee, an export business founded in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia; SNAP Coffee works with and in turn supports over 550 farmers with training, as well as building new schools and roads within the regions they operate.
