El Salvador El Carrizal
Continuing the trend of natural processed coffee, here’s another one! This time it’s a mix of Pacas and Bourbon varieties from the farm El Carrizal owned and run by Jose Antonio Salaverria and his two sons Andres Salaverria and Jose Antonio Salaverria. It’s located on the side of the Santa Ana Volcano at around 1400 - 1750 masl and is one of a number of farms the family have bought or inherited over the years. This time it’s smooth, round sweet and easy going with notes of milk chocolate, plum and cherry.
